Job Description:

Role:

The General Manager IT will be responsible for managing IT systems at the strategic and operational levels in keeping with growing organizational structure and needs.

Responsibilities:

· To plan, organize, direct and control the operations of information systems in line with objectives of the organization.

· Develop, define and implement policies and procedures for electronic data communication/ processing in all areas of the organization.

· Meet the challenges of IT system development, in accordance with agreed specifications, cost and timelines.

· Monitor and maintain IT operations to ensure maximum output and company wide access.

· Prepare, monitor and control the budgets and expenditure of IT Department, ensuring economy as well as business proficiency.

Skills Required:

The individual must possess initiative and drive, have broad relevant technical knowledge with good management expertise and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
